The first contest is to draw one of my OCs (Original Characters) in a Halloween costume. Why my characters? Well, if I had people draw their favorite characters or people, then the judging would be biased.
Who is judging? Not me. I’ve found some third parties who are not members of this site and they will judge.
What are they judging on? Well, drawing skill is not the main point earner in this contest. Creativity is. I’ll post an example pic of the character and then type a description of their personality. Likes, dislikes, that sort of thing. Then you guys draw them in Halloween costumes.
Second contest is for you graffiti artists. See, I have a few stories in need of title art. Basically, just see what you can do with the titles.
The titles are: Necropolis Metropolis- Which is the story with Nevina. It is fantasy and the main theme would be roses and feathers, but horror would work too if you wanted to play off the meaning of the name, which is Death City.
Blood by Moonlight- Is an occult horror story dealing mainly with Vampires. This story has been through many title changes, but that's the current title.
What You Wish For- a horror story about a haunted house. The while title would be What You Wish For, wit the added line of "Be careful about it."
Contest three is one with a longer time limit. The contest is to design your profile page in a Halloween theme. You can only use free-use graphics and backgrounds and cursors, and should try to design at least one object on your profile.
Also, if you choose to add one a photo of you in your Halloween costume would be cool, but ASK YOUR PARENTS FIRST! If they say no, then don't sweat it. Pictures are not required and younger kids need to be very careful about posting pictures anyway.
To enter the contests just get your entries up in your gallery- or get your profile decorated- and send me a comment.
Rule one: Must be able to tell who the character is.
Rule two: Keep entries PG13. I do not mind blood and gore, but no cursing, see-through costumes… you get the idea. Horror scenes are great! It's Halloween after all!
Rule three: If you do your entry on the computer then take two screen shots- One finished and one in progress. If you draw it then sign it with your username. Anyone caught tracing or stealing art will be disqualified and forbidden to enter any other contest I hold.

Deadline for the art contests will be the 15th, because of shipping times. If you do not think you’re ready or you do not like Halloween then don’t sweat it, there will be other contests.

Still gathering stuff for this, but if you are against Halloween/Do not celebrate it/ It’s already passed for you and you don’t want to celebrate it again, then we’ll have what I’m gonna call the Phoenix contest. More on that later.
OC number 1: Nevina- of course.
Pics: Characteristics: Nevina is the villain in the story Necropolis Metropolis. She has the wings of an angel, but you will not see her perched on top of a church unless it’s a joke.
OC number 2: Aniven
Pics:
Characteristics: Aniven is Nevina’s twin. They are kind of identical, save for he’s a boy and she’s a girl. Aniven also has blond hair instead of white, though it can be colored as white for symbolic reasons. He’s not very social and it takes a lot to earn his trust. He depends on his sister dearly and does not know much about the world so he fears it.
Characteristics: Jena is a little bit preppy. She works at a copy shop, is annoyed by her boss Aaron who is a comic artist in his spare time, and lives in a haunted house. She’s really creeped out by suggestions of the supernatural as it’s all fun and games until blood starts dripping from your walls. She is a horror movie fan.
Characteristics: Silvyr is the opposite of Jena. He runs a new age shop and works as a paranormal investigator, or medium.

I’m sorry guys, I’m not all sure what to write for each character so how about I just let you all ask questions and I’ll answer? I’ll try to get some better pics, but I don’t have many so I may end up finding pics with similar characteristics and begging that you use your imagination.
1. Keep the site friendly and appropriate for all ages.
2. Photos should be of faces only, appropriate, and you cannot ask people for them because we don't know who is lying about their age.
3. No nudity.
4. No theft.
5. No fighting. Report all concerns to a staff member.

The Disney Dreamer's program is something you go to when you reach college age, and they advertise at colleges. Don't decide fully what you want to do yet. You can say Computer Graphic Art and then take both computer and Art classes during college, but do not worry too much about what your career will be until you look into them. Maybe you'll like animation, maybe you'll like design, you can't know until you try it.
oh ok, and ur sure it has like a thing for artists nd junk? ok but when should i full decide on what i want to do? ye thats true, cuz theres so many branches of things i can do its just hard to pick which 1 i would like best, but how would i test out the 1's i like before i get into college, cuz i dont want to waste like 20 grand on something i wont like. u know? even tho thats more than my mom makes in a year lol

Yeah, I was kinda hoping you'd look into the school yourself and not find pages like that. >.< But the message is the same. You look at their final projects and they're not that impressive. Don't worry though, college is hard but there are many qualities in it that you'll love so no worries. A good idea is to, when you get your information packet from Full Sail, flip through and write down the classes you'd be taking for the career you want. Then when you find a college you can show the list to your advisor. Also, take art classes, they really help, i really wish i had the money to take them.
i was looking at the school but ye.. i guess i didnt really notice that stuff lol. but the biggest thing is the cost of it.. like on that site they charge like 1,000 a week! thats insane.. my mom makes like 1,600 a month. ye, i mean its all not a lost cuz she told me some things i should do to prepare myself for computer animation like, A.P. math classes nd scuplture class or suffin. its gonna say all that stuff in the packet? like the classes ill take as a computer animator? ok, hmm i wish i still lived in miami, my friend goes 2 miami dade community college, nd he hes going for animation, he says its pretty good. what do u mean art classes? at the colleges or what? nd money? huh lol
Art classes at your high school as well. When you start even a beginning drawing class in college, they expect you to know everything you would have been taught in a high school art class.
The packet should give that info. If not, they will be calling you again- trust me- so ask "I'm applyingfor some scholarships, but i need to know what classes i'll be taking. Where can i find that info, is it on the Website?"
Yeah, money. See, durign high school my friends and i decided we were not going to take the art classes because the teacher was really bad. Well, they took the classes and i missed out. I tried to go and take classes away from the school, but they cost money and I have none. lol. it's the story of my life.
omg r u serious... ffs, i should of paid attention in art last year.. i dont know anything, not even the color wheel. like how much did it cost, the art classes out of school? cuz ye i kno what u mean.. i hate the fact of money is everything now in the world. it sucks..
