First, make a guideline. Just add the basic circle. The middle of the face to do with the guidelines are very important. Add a vertical line on the middle of the circle, and add two horizontal lines (as a symbol of an equal) on the basic circle. If you want to make an anime/manga face, then add a sharp chin. The basic circle is mostly to make a forehead, and the lines are to make a face looks more like a 3Dish.

Now that you're ready to make a lineart, then add a forehead that is slightly sharp, and then add the chin, same as the forehead, slightly sharp. Add the eyes on the top horizontal lines. Add the nose on the very middle of the vertical line. Add the mouth on the middle bottom of the vertical line. Then add a neck, that is not too short or not too long, slightly bendy, but not really bendy. Now that erase the guidlines, and color and shade the face.
