How the Wolves howl

Broken hearts,

Broken souls,

Playin games,

All the same,

Out go the wolves and the pack goes a chasin,

Out go the wolves and the preys for the taking,

I wanna see what few men have ever seen, yes,

I wanna go where the wolves are a howlin,

Straight at the moon,

They never shift their gaze,

Toward the stars above,

I want to understand,

I wanna go where the wolves are a howlin,

I wanna go where no mans gone before me,

I’d like to know why the wolves are a howlin,

I wanna know all there is to know about them,

I’d try other ways,

But the wolves don’t speak English,

No other way,

For me to get to know them,

Was I destined simply to wonder my whole life?

I would think not, I’d rather simply try it,

Howlin at the moon to most would seem rather pointless,

I wanna know why those wolves are entranced,

One day I’ll know,

Some day I’ll know it all,

But until then,

I must learn what I can…
