Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know,
His house is in the village though.
He will not see me stopping here,
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer,
To stop without a farmhouse near,
Between the woods and frozen lake,
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake,
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep,
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

I was born in Slovakia in the year 1005, and was changed into a vampire when I was 20 years old. I live in Denali, Alaska with Katrina, Irina, Carmen, and Eleazer. Even though we are vampires, we do not feed on humans. We survive by drinking from animals - "vegetarians," so to speak, and live a very peaceful lifestyle. Most vampires are not like us, but we are willing to teach our ways to others we cross paths with.

My sisters and I are the originators of the Succubus Myth. A succubus is a demon, who takes the form of a beautiful woman to seduce men in dreams to have sexual intercourse. They draw energy from the men to sustain themselves, often until the point of exhaustion or death of the victim. Of course, the humans didn't get it right, but they did get the general idea. So as expected from that, we love men, even human men.
