It was late at night when i stop infront of the old,black gate.You can hear laughing,howling,and even some screaming.I go to open the door but I feel a cold hand on my shoulder and hear the person whisper,"Don't do it!".I stoped.I was scared out of my mind.I had never known anyone to ever come here,but still this dark,cold figure made me feel calm like nothing was wrong."Who are you?",I said."You don't recognize your own friends?",she said."Friends?",I said."Yea it's Paige and I",said the figure."Oh Nicole,Paige!I didn't think you would've come with me here."I said.My friends didn't want me to go into the gate,they talked me out of going in.So we left.

The next morning we all went to Victorian's Breakfeast Bar for a quick bite to eat."Hey Nicole, Paige why didn't you want me to go in?"."Because we've heard storys about seventeen year olds who go in that gate and never come out.",they both blurted out at the same time."Ok,Ok."i said."I will try to stay away from it.".After that we said nothing to eachother for the rest of breakfeast.

After we all finished eating,we went to,Magicians And Demons,our favorite store."So my best customers are back."said,Mr.Gemini,the owner of this store."Yea we've come back but not to buy stuff,we have a couple of questions and we expect you to know since your store is called Magicians And Demons."I cut right to the chase and told him straight out."What do you mean Karin?"he asked me."What i mean is can you tell us anything about that old gate in the darkest part of town?"i asked him.''Well yes I could but what do you want to know?".Mr.Gemini was harder then a bucket of bults when it came to getting answers."I want to know all that you know about it and i want the answers explained and now please."I told him flat out."Well that explains why you always shop in the demon part of the store."he mumbled. "Well first things first.Nicole,Paige do you want to know about any of this."They both shook their heads.What friends they are."Well since you don't i'll take Karin in the back and explain."he told them."Ok Mr.Gemini."

He took me to the back of the store and pointed to the couch for me to sit down."I'll tell you since you have to know."he said as he sat down on the chair infront of me."It all started when my son,Chase,turned seventeen years old."he began.Oh no just what Nicole and Paige told me at breakfeast."He wanted to know all about witches and warlocs and stuff.So he thought that it would be a great idea for him and a few of his friends to go around the old gate.They thought they might see some stuff coming out or going in.They didnt see anything go in or come out but they did find themselves inside the gate."He kept talking."They started looking around.They found all sorts of neat things.They found witches,warlocs,flying pigs,even a few dragons.So they decided to look at the creatures around them,but they coudn't see anything different about all these creatures than the human itself.Except that is that they were magic."As he kept talking I saw sadness in his eyes."How do you know all this Mr.Gemini?"I asked him."Be quit and i'll tell you."he said quickly."Sorry."He kept on about what his son saw and that he tried to take a baby dragon home as a pet."What an idiot."I thought."Three days later my wife and I got a little worried about where Chase was,so we called the police and they started looking for him.At first we had thought he was staying at a friends house but boy were we wrong."He starts crying a little bit as he keeps talking."His Girlfriend,Jennifer,knocked on our door two days later.Her clothes were torn,hair messed up,scratches and blood marks everywhere on her body.We told her to sit down and she did as we said.She told us everything."His eyes were wet and i could see tear stains on his face."What did she tell you?"I asked a bit worried about if I should've asked him or not."She told us that when he tried to get the baby dragon its mother came up and looked at her with anger.It stomped right over to Jennifer and tried to hurt her but Chase came to her protection.All his friends had left and he was all alone to defend her.The mother dragon used flames and flashed around with fury trying to hurt her,but instead of hitting Jennifer it hit Chase and had killed him.So we told the police to stop looking,that we had found out he was killed.Jennifer went to her mom and hasn't come out of her house since that day she told us about what happened."Tears rolled down his cheeks once again."You don't have to tell me anymore i can see that you in pain telling me this story."I said trying to comfort him."Thank you Karin."

We walked back out into the store and Nicole and Paige were sitting in two chairs holding three bags of stuff they wanted."Oh my gosh guys you want all of that?"I asked in amazement."Not all of it is ours we got some stuff for you."They said happily."Thanks"I told them in return."So how much is it Mr.Gemini?"I asked him as he rung the last item up."Well it's fifty-two dollars and twenty-five cents."He told us."Wow thats a lot."I sounded astonished."Well since you are my best customers and sorta like my family."he looks at me"i'll buy it for you."He said with a smile"Thanks"We all said as we walked out the door and saw that it was around noon-time which meant time for lunch.
