"What?" Ichigo gasped.

"I told you..." Hichigo was on the verge of crying, "I love you."

Ichigo let the guilt seep in. All this time, he thought of Hichigo as an annoying pest who wanted to take over his body. But that wasn't true, Hichigo wanted to make sure Ichigo was getting stronger and stronger so he could protect himself and those he wanted to protect. But now, Ichigo can't protect anybody. 

Ichigo placed his hand on Hichigo's head gently, "Thanks."

Hichigo looked up and smiled. It was awkward to see him smile, but that didn't matter at all. 

"We'll live together." Ichigo said through tears of mixed emotions, "And die together."

Hichigo stood up and wiped a tear, " Yeah, together."
