The Sun, writer's prompt
Posted On 10/26/2011 15:45:48 by inuderf83

I’ve always loved you, I can’t even remember since when I’ve started to long for you.

Flowing, stumbling, glistening, and lighting your way into my world and into my heart

You’re warmth and what brings life to this floating clay we call Earth; just the perfect amount though, because you see a few feet closer could turn into flames and few feet further cold freeze the clay over.

You have a way of coloring the skies in the evenings that nothing else can take from you and you peak over the hills in the morning bringing happiness to those that need it.

I think that’s why I love you the most, some people prefer the moon over you; without you it would be nothing but a merely a pebble orbiting the clay, your light is what makes that pebble glow.

And some might not realize it, but you bring protection.

So I’d like to thank you for always being there.
