Aurora

Aurora is a Latin word for dawn. There is Aurora for a name for my female protagonist, because sometimes, she is addicted to the aurora. However, she use the Aurorian Cards*. She use the Aurorian Cards just to give her powers. Also, she use the jewels, and her gemstone is Sapphire. That's why the title of the anime is Sapphire Shine.
Luna

Luna is the Spanish or the Latin word for moon. Luna is the second female protagonist on Sapphire Shine. She is also addicted to the stars and the outer space, but she is mostly addicted on the nights. Luna is the youngest person on the Aurorian Teams (as well-known as the Sapphirane). Luna is not always addicted on the nights. However, she is addicted of the diamond jewels. Her gemstone is ruby, gold, and amethyst. Sometimes, Aurora gets to share her Sapphire with Luna.
Nebulosa

Nebulosa is a Spanish word, meaning for Nebula. The word nebula means, like a milky way or something. I have look at the college dictionary, around two last nights, so I think I am getting smarter. Nebulosa is the third member of the Aurorian Teams. She is always addicted of the cards, even Solitare, the game, that is like the Microsoft game, but she does not use Microsoft to use the Solitare. She does not play the cards, though. She uses them for powers and lights. Nebulosa is also addicted of the outer space. Especially the milky way and the nebula.
Nuitssa

Nuitssa is the word, combining of the word twlight and night in French. Nuitssa is addicted of the twilights. Nuitssa does not addict to the jewels much, but she use them just to use her power controls. Nuitssa is Nebulosa's relate sister, but she's not a complete sister of Nebulosa. Nebulosa is also a relate sister of Luna.
Akira
Akira is Nuitssa's complete sister. She is eight-years old, though she will turn nine in the 23rd of December. Akira does not have the symbol of cards, and so does the gemstone, because she is too young to be in it. She has to be around nine to be in it, so she will be in it later. Akira is not a Japanese, but her name is a failure of a nationally. All of the characters of Sapphire Shine are not Japanese, but Aurora was the one who is Japanese once. Nowadays, they live in the Aurorian Island, and that island is blue. It's not the crazy island, but they use blue, because the main character is the gemstone of Sapphire, and the buildings are blue, and there's so many lakes, ponds, and rivers around this island. There's only two cities in that island, so that island is really small.
