okay i came across this when i wanted to do very close editing

This can be used for colouring in detail aswell im not sure if anyones done this but try using the Magnifier. this is much better than the zoom tool infact it comes with windows... sorry mactards xD unless theres a similar tool for a mac.

Start> All Programs> accesories> accesability> magnifier

with that you can get even closer and do more detailed colouring in or even use your mouse
