Those stars are your activity points.

The more you comment others and make blogs polls, recieve comments, etc. you more points you'll get

Yup. I agree with someone who've just post a reply on this topic. These stars are called 'acticity points'. You start by getting a blue stars, 5 blue stars, and then a yellow star, and then a gold star. Like if you check out my profile, it says I have 5 gold stars and on the text here, I've got 9307 activity points. You recieve them by comment, uploading images, creating blogs, polls, and forum (maybe?). And arcade games, because I found out that everytime I play an arcade game, I recieve activity points, too. lol Plus, there's Top Users by activity points, whoever gets the most activity points. I'm the part of the Top Users by activity points, #4.
