for ayumi hamasaki lovers and fans!

ayumi hamasaki began her modeling career at seven then she moved with her mom. she joined
SOS a talent agency she got good grades at first but then decided but then she decided that the subjects she was taking were no use of her. her grades dropped drastically. her modeling career did not last long SOS deemed her to short and transferred her to sun music a musicians agency.
using the name "ayumi" she released a hip hop album 'nothing from nothing' however when the album did not make the charts on oricon the label dropped hamasaki.


with no agency ayumi had no place to live. before she had lived in dormitories provided bye the
agency's. needing somewhere to live she began acting in low budget movies and television dramas. she joined Hirokoshi Geukan a high school for arts. however she felt dissatisfied with her job hamasaki quit acting and moved to tokyo with her mom.
though she had nothing to do most of the time she spent shopping in shibuya and dancing
at velfarre an avex owned disco club.

at velfarre she was introduced through a friend to her future producer max matsuura after hearing hamasaki sing karaoke he offered her a record deal but hamasaki expecting to be dropped turned him down.
he persisted her to do it and she finally signed on ton the avex label and began vocal training.

HOWEVER she found the classes to be dull and instructions rigid she skipped most of her vocal classes.
when she confessed this to mutsuura he sent her to new york for training.
the writing in her messages impressed matsuura and he suggest she wright her own songs.

ayumi's first debut album avex a song for xx
under avex. the singles poker face "you" "trust" "depend on you"
were not a big hit but when she starting being honest in her lyrics she got awarded
"best new artist of the year award".
