Spending as much time as I possibly can with Renesmee.
I also like working on cars and riding my motorcycle (with or without Bella).
I like cliff diving with the guys.
I eat a whole lot, especially Emily’s food. It’s the best stuff around.
I spend most of my time in the forests. Sleeping is another favorite past time.
MOVIES
Action and adventure are my favorite.
MUSIC
I usually listen to a bunch of rock and alternative bands. I like my music loud, with the bass resounding.
I don’t like classical or country much at all. Rap’s okay, I guess, but there is a lot better stuff out there. Pop stuff like Britney Spears annoys me to no end, just so you know.
BOOKS
Honestly, I have better things to do. Reading is just something that I haven’t been able to pick up.
I LOVE Renesmee!!It might be something that a lot of people don't understand, but the moment I saw her, I knew I'd never want to exist for anyone else ever again. Bella will always remain my best friend, and my first love, but Nessie now owns my heart. I wouldn't have it any other way. I will be whatever she needs me to be. For now, I am her closest friend and constant companion. As time goes on, and she gets older, things may change. All that will ever matter to me, however, is that she is finally in my life.
"It’s not like love at first sight, really. It’s more like… gravity moves. When you see her, suddenly it’s not the earth holding you here anymore. She does. And nothing matters more than her. And you would do anything for her, be anything for her… You become whatever she needs you to be, whether that’s a protector, or a lover, or a friend, or a brother." Eclipse, Chapter 8, p.176
"Everything inside me came undone as I stared at the tiny porcelain face of the half-vampire, half-human baby. All the lines that held me to my life were sliced apart in swift cuts, like clipping the strings to a bunch of balloons. Everything that made me who I was – my love for the dead girl upstairs, my love for my father, my loyalty to my new pack, the love for my other brothers, my hatred for my enemies, my home, my name, my self – disconnected from me in that second – snip, snip, snip – and floated up into space. I was not left drifting. A new string held me where I was." Breaking Dawn, Chapter 18, p.360
ABOUT ME
Hey, I’m Jacob Black - but one may refer to me as Jake, if you’re a friend. I have always lived here at La Push in Washington State with my dad, Billy, ever since I was born. The entire Quileute tribe is my family, as far as I’m concerned. They kinda make up for my mother’s death, I guess; not to mention they fill the emptiness left by my sisters, as they’ve both moved on to bigger and better things. Let’s see, as of now... I’m finishing up my junior year in high school - just a few months left then I’m free for the summer.
I guess I should start explaining myself, huh? Hmm, well, I first began to experience changes a few years back; I suspected the worst of everyone, sad to say... A short pessimistic stage, one could call it. I didn’t even want to be around the best of friends (mainly Bella). Needless to say, it was one of the most crucial periods of my life.
My transfiguration into a werewolf was just beginning. Yes, you heard right: I’m a werewolf, along with the rest of my pack: Sam, Paul, Jared, Embry, and Quil. Sam is, for lack of a better word, the leader, or alpha of our pack. Our job is to protect our land from those leeches; we’re not hesitant when it comes to ending lives, if it means guarding our secret. Our biggest threat, the hazard that sets us all on edge... the Cullens. All seven of them. Remember the treaty, you filthy, good-for-nothing blood-suckers.
The transformation happened about a year ago, after the Cullens left Washington. It was pure heaven without them, especially Edward. Leech left her high and dry. I knew there’s no such thing as a good vampire. Anyhow, I was at the movies with Bella and her supposed-friend, Mike Newton. I don’t particularly like the guy, but I thought it was good for Bells to be out and around people, for once. After that, I gave her the cold shoulder. It was part of the pessimistic stage that I mentioned earlier, don’t worry. It’s all good.
My pack had to deal with two vampires, during the time; one of which was demolished soon after. Being separated from Bella was killing me inside, so I just had to tell her. Actually, she kind of figured it out on her own, which isn’t, technically, against the rules. Well, she did have some help from your’s truly, but we won’t discuss that. After all, I couldn’t just leave her hangin’. I’m just a nice guy like that. Surprisingly, Bella didn’t take the news the way I had thought she would. She’s such a good sport - most of the time.
We soon figured out that the other vampire that was roaming around was after Bella. I did my best to protect her from those leeches, but she just ended up running back to them, once one of them showed up at her house, unexpectedly. Can someone please explain to me how that works? Ugh. I guess she’ll have to learn her lesson on her own, someday.
Now, you see, just recently - er, not too long ago - my pack had to form a temporary alliance with those leeches, all seven of them! Don’t bother asking. It was nauseating, to say the least. I mean, we had to put up with their stench for what seemed like forever.
Anyhow, after agreeing not to tear them apart, limb by limb, the ex-soldier showed us some combative moves that we were to use against those newborns. Figures it was all Victoria’s doing. She was a sorry excuse for a vampire, if you ask me. She deserved to die.
On with my story: I guess I shouldn’t mention the tent incident, but I think I’m going to, because I can. You see, Bella was cold and hypothermic, etc. etc. and her leechboy couldn’t help her. I’ll never forget that day. We were so close - physically, of course. I just wish that vampire wasn’t there during our time together. Needless to say that I got Bells warmed up real good. That vampire was just burning with jealousy. It was priceless.
Not to mention that she kissed me! Twice. The first time was kinda spontaneous, I guess. I think she just needs a little practice. Surely kissing a werewolf is way different from making out (insertGAGhere) with a lifeless corpse. Yeah, yeah, she punched me. I’m sure you all know that by now. Well, she should’a known that she’d get hurt in the process. She should have let me kiss her hand to make it better. After all, my kisses are pretty magical.
