so far all my drawing has been me without any training from books and stuff but even so i mostly just copy draw pics from my pc (download pics from all over and try drawing them). but i want to start learning more ways to draw
Deviantart's a good place to find specific tutorials and inspiration. I go on there, like, everyday now. It's kinda hard to become an artist without help, since you can learn lotsa techniques from other people.

Haha, yeah. I'm experimenting colouring with highlighters and sharpie right now x3 I really love those cross designs of yours, they're really neat. Drawing on the com can look really good once you get the hang of it.
I have graphics class too, though mine's almost over. It was an interesting class, and I learned a little bit about principles of art, which is helpful.
I think color adds depth and atmosphere to art, but yeah, in some cases keeping it black and white gives it its own feeling and keeps the focus. (Lol I make myself sound so expert but I'm totally not ).
Point taken, haha. I took an art class in grade 2 (shapes, woohoo...). But I've mostly gotten artistic info out of books and tutorials online. I'm pretty good at copying drawings, but I prefer testing myself and drawing without reference. ^^ I think I should start using reference though.
