Well, that can be the hard part. once you tell them, it will feel a lot better and then you'll begin to feel more comfortable talking to you're parents about these things.

you don't have to tell every detail, but just tell them how you feel and that you're tired of feeling like that.

why don't you talk to you're school counselor a few time's and see how it helps, who knows it could make a huge difference, also you said that the counselor will try to convince you to talk to you're parents but the counselor can give you advice and help you with that.
