First i began by thinking of drawing a person, a female, i chose to make her African because i need to practice drawing relaxed hair (Afros) so far so good... then i got to the part where i massed up!...

i was drawing her eyelashes then my hand slipped and made a mistake. your average dope will normally respond by fixing the mistake and starting over, however when i did "mess up" i went along with it. i kept drawing. now it's not a mistake! why? to get better at anything, first you must imbrace mistakes and learn from them, they are your best freind and the wisest of teachers. if you hesitate, you will not get better.
i always say to my strick art teacher "my anatomy may be broken, but it's cooler than anything you'll ever draw" if it doesn't look realistic, say that it's your style... that's how YOU draw.
Don't fall pray to your own judgement, keep creating art and have fun!
