When the other brother finished art studies, the other brother who worked so hard in the mines couldn’t even hold a brush and thus, couldn’t pursue art school as originally planned. As tribute to the brother who sacrificed so that his brother’s dream could come true, the painter-brother named Albert Dürer rendered his miner-brother’s sacrificial hands in a painting.
