Master Chief John-117, the main protagonist of Bungie’s trilogy of science fiction first-person shooter video games Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3. Bungie concept artist Eddie Smith described the Master Chief as "pretty much the consummate professional. He does his job, walks off, doesn't even get the girl, he's that cool he doesn't need her." A cybernetically enhanced supersoldier Master Chief is a Clint Eastwood-type character- a man of few words. Check out this free lesson on how to draw Master Chief John-117 in this step by step tutorial.
Step 1 Guidelines come first as always with grey pencil. As you can see Master Chief is basically made up out of rounded square and rectangle shapes.
Step 2 I’ve filled in the details with a thin black pencil. You can play the animation on a slow speed here so you can follow all the details easily.
Step 3 I’ve coloured in the blacks and grey of his suit with the pencil and airbrushed in the green shades. Fill in the visor with yellow and orange with the pencil and there you have him! Your very own Master Chief!
