Its the Christmas season and all the train sets and train games are in full swing.
But what about the real trains that help you commute? The trains that transport you - train between stations. There's a buzz in the stations for a Train enquiry, and a train reservation, a train ticket booking, or a the train time table, to check train availability and the train schedule.
Step 1 -
This is a long train sketched in perspective. The engine that is closest to you is drawn larger than the wagons that it pulls along behind.
To begin, sketch grey guidelines with the pencil line tool - let the lines get closer together as they get further away from you.
Step 2 -
Draw in the details of the engine using a circle for the face in front and parallel curves for the body - its chimney, cow guard and the wheels - all in perspective--the wheels and windows of the wagons getting smaller as it is seen further away from you.
Step 3 -
Color the train - engine in grey tones outlined with black and the wagons with red outlined with a darker red. The smoke puffing from the chimney has been airbrushed with grey shades.
