Optimus Prime is the awe-inspiring leader of the Autobot forces.


This is a long shot of Optimus Prime.
The style used here is very different from the original Optimus. He is more cartoony and exaggerated. His chest and shoulders are very wide, as are his feet. His waist though is very narrow.


Inspite of the difference in the styles of drawing, Optimus is still a robot. So like before, the guidelines can be drawn with nice chunky geometric shapes. I've used light grey pencil to draw them.


I've used black pencil to fill in the details and white pencil to erase the guidelines.


I've used transparent colours with the paint bucket to fill in this drawing.

Optimus has a blocky look that is emphasised by the fact that one side of the block is darker than the other.

Thanks alot it is really good and could you ask more people to do thier tutorials without the clear paper over it i know it might help you guys but most people dont have that much clear paper thanks! 8-D
