Inuyasha: Damn you Naraku! You'll pay for what you've done to Sango!
Naraku:Sentimental half-breed as always. Those feelings you have for your friends make you weak.
Inuyasha: Feh your the weak one! Never going in battle, always have minions to do your dirty work. The way I see it you're a coward.
Miroku: Kagome please watch over Sango.
Kagome: Right.(whispering) Sango hang in there. You can make it, I know you can.

Indeed Sango's breathing had been becoming faint, and her heart was just beating. But the reason for this was not the wound in her chest but from something else. But what? (A/N what do you think?)

Miroku:What exactly did you do to Sango you bastard!(A/N again with the words. sounding more and more like Inuyasha. Dont blame him though)
Naraku (laughing): Isn't it obvious. I would figure that Inuyasha would pick up the scent of what happened to Sango. You are more naive than you look. I'll tell you anyway since you will very soon. It was miasma. Entering her bloodstream. Not even Kagome could purify, her spiritual powers are weak!
______:SHUTUP YOU,YOU INSENSITIVE IDIOT!!!
Inuyasha:Kagome?!?!
Kagome:I am sick and tired of you mocking us. Now you will pay! *aiming arrow* This is for Sango and the rest of us!

She released her grip on the arrow as it fired at amazing speed. The spiritual was amazing. Perhaps stronger than Kikyo's.(A/N Haha Kikyo what now?!?! Kagome is better than you! ha!)Naraku put up a barrier in hopes of blocking the arrow but failed as the arrow pierced through the barrier and Naraku's chest.
Naraku:Damn..you wench. This maybe where it ends but I have one last thing to do before I move on.
(A/N OH NO!!)

Sango managed to regain consciousness and saw Naraku on his knees.

Sango (thinking): Good job Kagome.

To her horror Naraku managed to grab Kohaku who was silently observing the battle and sliced the vein in his neck.

Sango:NOOOO!!

She made an attempt to rush towards him. Even though she could barely move she could manage to stand. But Miroku appeared in front of her. She hugged him burying her face in his chest where she hid and cried. He returned it. They all turned to Naraku with new anger boiling in their veins. He had taken all of Sango's family away from her. He had gone way too far.

Inuyasha:Naraku.......you bastard! Now I will send you to hell! MEIDOU ZANGETSUHA!

A large black hole appeared in front on Naraku. There and then the demon that had caused them all despair and suffering was sucked into the cold,dark depths of hell.

Shippo:Did you do it?
Miroku:One way to find out*unwraps prayer beads*......It's gone. It's gone!
Sango:Thank goodness....*cough cough*

Sango dropped on her kness and coughed.

Sango:Miasma......spreading *fainted*

Kagome: We need to get her healed and fast.
Miroku:Will she be alright
Kagome:........

The silence said it all. She couldn't make any promises. The injurires were very serious. Who knew what could be done. It made Miroku's heart sink.

Kagome:i'll do all that I can
Inuyasha: Please do your best Kagome.
Kagome:Right

Miroku was sitting outside of the hut thinking.

Miroku:Damn, it was me who was supposed to protect her. My life was shorter from the start. She wasn't supposed to give her life for me or the others. That was my job, Dammit!

Miroku went inside to see how Sango was doing. She was laying near the corner of the room. She looked pale. He went over to her and sat next to her grabbing her hand.

Miroku:Sango, I need you. Please make it through this.

Her hand squeezed back

Sango:Miroku....I can't..live..without......you*falls back to sleep*

Inuyasha*hand on Miroku's shoulder*: She'll be alright. She is a strong person.
Miroku: Thanks for that.

Right there and then Sango stopped breathing.

t's been 2 hours since the gang has met up with Naraku. Currently Inuyasha,Kagome,Shippo, and Miroku are back at Kaede's village.

Miroku:Huh? Whats going on?
Kagome:Good you're awake. It looks like we've all been injured pretty badly.
Inuyasha:That damn bastard Naraku!

Miroku turns his head hoping to see Sango sitting next to him but she was nowhere to be found.

Miroku:Where is Sango?
Kagome (worried): I don't know. I haven't seen her.
Kaede: On the hillside is when I last saw ye.
Miroku: I'll go look for her
Shippo: Dont move aroudn too much. You're still injured. You've been the most wounded out of all of us. Let me go check.
Kagome:Thanks Shippo

Shippo floated towards the hillside near Onigumo's cave but Sango wasn't there. Where could she have gone?
Shippo:Is it possible that Naraku might have taken her while we were all unconscious?
*Back at the hut*
Shippo:Sango wasn't there!
Kagome: If she isn't there then where is she?
Inuyasha:Hey Miroku! What is that attached to your staff? Isn't that Sango's ribbon?

Miroku carefully untied the piece of paper attached to the staff and read:
Dear Miroku,
Forgive me for doing this but it is all my fault that this all happened to you, again. Therefore I have gone to slay Naraku on my own. I wish it didn't have to be this way but I had no other choice. I may not make it out of this alive but by my death Naraku will not harm you or the others ever again. Forgive me, I wanted to be with you. Goodbye, Forever.

The ink had been smeared a little. She had obviously been crying when she was writing the letter. Attached to the letter was a picture of him and Sango taken by Kagome with one of her contraptions from her world (A/N Its called a camera duh! lol) they looked so happy together.

Miroku: Dammit what the hell is she going to do on her own (A/N that sounds more like something that Inuyasha would say. Miroku doesn't curse that much. He must pretty angry don't u think?)
Inuyasha:How does she intend to find Naraku anyway?
_____:Master Inuyasha! Sango is in terrible danger!
Inuyasha:Who said that

*slurp*
*slap*
Inuyasha: Ah Myoga it's you. So where is Sango?
Myoga: I had just arrived to your battle and I hid until it was over. I overheard Naraku say "Come to the slayers village. I will be waiting" That must be where she has gone! But its definitely a trap!
Shippo: Must you state the obvious of course it's a trap!
Kagome:You said it Shippo.
Myoga: We must hurry to the Slayer's Village! Sango could be killed.

A thought like that made Miroku stumble a bit.

Inuyasha: We don't have time to waste!

Meanwhule Sango had just arrived at the village.

Naraku (laughing): It is good for you to come Sango. Today is the day where you wil be reunited with your father and your comrades.
Sango: Where is Kohaku? What did you do to him?
Naraku: Do not worry Sango, I have not hurt your darling little brother. Not yet at least.
Sango:What do you intend to do to him?
Naraku: I intend to kill him as you die. He will die right before your eyes as you start your journey to the netherworld.
Sango: Damn you! HIRAIKOTSU!

Of course Naraku dodged this attack. He shot one of his tentacles at Sango. But she dodged this attack as well. Up, down, left, right, horizontal (A/N you get the point) she dodged them all.
Naraku: Wench why won't you die?
Sango:Ha take this HIRAIKOTSU

This time Naraku put up a barrier instead and deflected the weapon back at her the force was so fierce that she was flipped backwards 2 times. She was struggling to breathe. Naraku took this chance and lurched fowards grabbing her by the neck.

Naraku: Now demon slayer I would like to see you suffer a bit more before you die.

One of Naraku's tentacles went inside her chest, reaching for her heart and squeezing it. She let out an agonizing scream. That move could've killed her but she still lived.

Naraku: Although women are very boring there is something exciting about their faces when you squeeze there hearts. Now you can fall to your inevitable death. Do not worry your brother will soon follow you.
Sango (weakly):Damn......you
_______:GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF HER YOU BASTARD!!
Sango(thinking): That voice, it couldn't be.

A staff came in contact with Naraku's tentacles causing to release Sango from his grasp. Miroku caught her before she hit the ground.

Miroku:Sango say something to me!
Sango (smiling weakly) You..came...for..me..

She clutched his robes trying to regain consciousness but soon fainted into an endless world of darkness.

It was the night of the new moon and the Inu crew decided to stay at Kaede's village. When morning came they set off on their journey.

*sniff sniff*

Kagome:What is it Inuyasha?

Inuyasha: I can smell Naraku! Near Onigumo's cave!

They all arrived at the cave and found Naraku there. Apparently he has been expecting them to come.

Inuyasha: Naraku you bastarsd! Today is the day you die!

Naraku: I, Naraku be slain by a pitiful half-breed like you? Ha I'd like to see you try! But today I'm not the one you're going to fighting. I wanted to test a new weapon of mine. He is much stronger than ever before!

Inuyasha: Keh save it! As if any of your pathetic minions can defeat me or any of us! Bring him out here!

Naraku: Kohaku, come

Sango (in mind): Kohaku!

Inuyasha: As if that brat could defeat me.

Naraku:Kohaku go. Do not go to far though. I'm not done toying with their hearts just yet.

Kohaku: Yes master Naraku.

Kohaku goes rushing towards Inuyasha, chain scythe in hand he lunges towards him as Inuyasha raises up Tetsusaiga preparing to block the attack. Suddenly, Kohaku disappears and reappears behind him slashes Inuyasha just enough to knock him unconscious.

Inuyasha:*lands face first into the ground* Ugh, how......
Kagome:Inuyasha!!!

Shippo(on Kagome's shoulder): Kagome don't you'll be slashed by Kohaku!
Too late Kohaku ran past her and slashed at her side and grabber her arm and threw her towards Inuyasha. Leaving her and Shippo unconcious. Sango was too devasted to believe what was happening. Her little brother was hurting her friends. She was too shocked to even cry.

Miroku:Sango stay back you'll only get hurt!

Sango:But you'll be injured Miroku!

Miroku: I promise to protect you with my life. I will have no regret protecting you. If you were to ever be injured it would be more painful than death if I die.

This is when Sango started to cry.

Naraku: Monk and Demon slayer left. Finish up Kohaku.

Kphaku rushed towards the monk and disappeared and reappeared behind him and slashed at him but this time he put the blade to his neck.

Sango: Miroku!

She attempted to rush towards him. Her vision was blurred by tears.

Miroku (weakly): Stop! It is like I said before I have no regret protecting you with my life.
On the last words he was knocked out cold with the hilt of the scythe was struck into his chest. It was fortunate that the monk was still alive. Sango felt as if her heart was being crushed. She sank to the ground on her knees

Naraku: Now what will you do? Let the monk die and not lay a hand on your brother or will you injure Kohaku to save the monks life? Now what will it be?

Sango: I've heard enough! Get away from him! HIRAIKOTSU!
Kohaku dodged the weapon as Sango rushed toward Miroku putting her arms around him protectively.

Naraku: Pathetic human. Kohaku end this now!

Kohaku raised his blade ready to deal the final blow as Sango closed her eyes waiting for the strike. But long seconds past and she wondered how come she didn't do anything yet. She opened her eyes and saw Kohaku struggling trying not to strike.

Naraku: It seems he cannot do it. What a pity. Well it seems i will have to do more arrangements. Until next time. If you want revenge come to your village. I'll be waiting.

Naraku disappeared in a vortex of miasma. Sango began to cry on Miroku's shoulderr until she felt a familiar hand on her back.

Miroku: Thank goodness you're alright.

Sango: Miroku, I'm sorry all of this happened. Its all my fault

Mitoku: Shh, its alright. It's not your fault. Everything is going to be fine. I promise.

Having said this he kissed her forehead and smiled before falling unconcious again. She kissed him lightly before rising to her feet.

Kaede: Are ye alright? What happened?

Sango: Naraku

Kaede: I see. I will help thee with wounds.

Sango: Thankyou
Sango had wandered off to a hillside wondering what she was going to do. She started writing a letter to Miroku telling him a final goodbye. When she finished she went and tied the letterr to Miroku's staff using the white ribbon she used for her hair. She left before Kaede noticed that she left. She glanced back at Miroku and the others. That may have been the very last time she was ever going to see them. She rode off into the sky heading towards her village.

Sango: By my death Naraku will not lay a hand on them ever again.
