The most convenient place to do the sibling quarrel is at night, when the whole family is on the bed ready to go to sleep. Well, also, when you are sleeping next to your sibling...(lol).

I don't remember though the reason why we were quarreling (with Aina as usual).  There we are, lying side by side on the bed, bickering with each other.  She called me names like kalamay, kamay etc etc. (since my name is maimai) so I also called her lana, banana etc etc. Calling names are very petty, but since we were very young and tender hearted,,, well,, yeah, we easily get irritated.  Unfortunately, Aina get's angry very easily, and she isn't very good at controlling her emotions (on her younger days,,,). 

We were calling each other names (any names that rhymes to our names ), and then she started crying.  Obviously, we were not facing each other that time. Then, suddenly, she started hitting my back. 

Boy, she can hit!!! 

Still, I continued teasing her while she is making a punching bag out of my back.  I wanted to retaliate but the situation is more amusing when I thought about it.  There I was hurting her feelings with my blabbering mouth while she's punching my back all her might. (They say getting hurt emotionally is much worse than physically, right? ).

We seems to be making some ruckus coz my parents heard us from the other room.  They just shouted, "Stop fighting and go to sleep!".  

We had a little time out, making sure they're not listening and continued our sibling lovin'....

Until this moment, everytime we (my sister and I) talk about the funny moments in our childhood, this one is on of them.. Whenever I talk about this to the family, me and my sister, Aina would throw into fits of merriment. :D

I am the eldest child of four children, so, even when we are still very young I always been given the responsibility to look for the little ones (which is not so little now).

Sometimes though, I lead the pack to mischief, but when it comes to household chores, its  a very serious business to me. Since we had the knack on 'forgetting' the assigned chores, our mom posted our tasks on the kitchen wall.

Since our two other siblings are all cute babies, me and my sister are sharing the 'burdens' of the house. The problem is, she had this habit of saying, "I'll do it later"...  That's okay with me, but mostly, her later becomes 'never' and 'forgotten'. So, one day, while I was cleaning and sweeping the floor, I found my little Sister in the kitchen sitting her cute little butt and. And I, reminded her about her 'duty'. She said she'll do it later, which annoyed me since she isnt doing anything. So, I told her about it again and again......

My memory seems a little foggy at this area, so I guess we were quarelling heatedly since what came from me is a flying broom and its directed to my sister, although I made sure that it doesnt hit her. I just want to make my point.

I did make my point. A spoon suddenly came flying directed at me.
