How to Draw Palkia from Pokemon

Palkia is a totally cool dual-type Pokémon. It is a Water and Dragon legendary Pokémon. Palkia is a close runner to Dialga though, since its battle skills are almost the same as Dialga's, except that Palkia can learn a handful of Water-type moves. Palkia is also slightly faster than Dialga and has weaker defensive stats. Palkia's first appearances were in the Pokemon Diamond & Pearl series's Dragon Trilogy. It was first shown, along with Dialga and Darkrai, in The Rise of Darkrai, where it fought with Dialga and nearly destroyed Alamos Town. If you haven’t already guessed it, this is the pokemon we will be drawing in today’s tutorial lesson. So read on and learn how to draw Palkia.

Step 1
Ok, now lets get down to the drawing. Sketch the guidelines with simple geometric shapes. Palkia is made up of a lot of circles for its head, shoulders, hands and knees.

Step 2
Draw the details with black pencil. Palkia has massive hind legs and a powerful tail. Erase the guidelines with white pencil. Touch up your drawing if you need to and then start the colouring.

Step 3
Colour Palkia in with the airbrush tool using transparent colours. Use a transparent black for the shadows. I’ve used the paint brush tool for the marking.. this makes them more defined. And that’s it for your Pokemon Palkia!
