Alright, we’ve done how to draw emo and how to draw emo people, sooo, today’s tutorial will be on how to draw emo cartoons. This drawing lesson is on a very popular emo cartoon created by Jeff Thomas, aka azuzephre – Pon and Zi. Actually this tutorial is on how to draw Pon from Pon and Zi.

Step 1
Pon is a very simple cartoon to draw. 1 circle for the head and another 2 make the eyes, yes they are supposed to be different sizes. Pon’s body is very simple, hands without fingers and no legs.

Step 2
Give Pon a thick black outline. Erase the guidelines with pencil.

Step 3
The colouring has been done with the airbrush tool. Colour Pon in shades of yellow and carefully merge the highlights and shadows. The colouring gives this simple drawing a lot of character.
