I’m back! Hope you like this new how to draw tutorial. Check out the perspective in this tutorial. You can see that the girl has been drawn smaller than the boy. This makes her look like she is in the background. If she were the same size as the boy, she’d look like she was standing right next to him. Go ahead and try some experiments with perspective in this drawing. Make the girl really small or make her bigger and the boy smaller and see how it turns out. Have fun! Let the wind carry your kite high into the sky.

Step 1
Sketch the guidelines with grey pencil. Do circles for the head and sketch the guidelines for the eyes, nose and mouth. Sketch simple shapes for the hands and feet.

Step 2
Now use the pencil tool to fill in the details in black. Erase the guidelines with white pencil.

Step 3
This is the colouring step. I’ve used the pencil tool to colour the kids and the kite in bright cheerful colours. The grass has been done with the paint bucket.
