Step 1-

I sketch out guidelines with a grey pencil to get my proportions right. That way there's less erasing in the end. I begin with a large circle for the head and an oval for the body. Stick arms and legs and I box in the gloved hands and make 2 ovals for the chunky hover skate shoes. For the hedgehog mane I draw a large curve around the head.

Step 2 -

Lets put in the details now. i draw the large eyes that are furrowed on top by a frown, and the small eyeballs.Two As for the ears and a small pointed tail.

Step 3 -

To paint Sonic the Hedgehog, I use a large airbrush with shades of blue. I paint the shadows with a transparent dark blue and the highlights with a transparent light blue. The shoes I paint with a red and leave the strip white. For white gloves I give grey shadows.
