How to draw a realistic cartoon pencil

I recommend you start with the shading first, then worry about the details.
Edit: I noticed there are some glitches in this video, if you see a white streak near the start of step three then back up slightly and it will go away.
And do the same if you see the start of step four as the wrong colour. AND the white line appearing at step 7.
