How to draw a sparrow

In this tutorial you will learn step by step how to draw a sparrow.

Step 1
Draw the guidelines of the sparrow, a circle for the head. The body is bean shaped and the tail is like a truncated triangle. Do the outline of the feathers.

Step 2
Erase the guidelines that may not be part of the sparrow. Using a paint bucket, the body, wings and head are coloured. A pencil tool has been used for coloring other details. Darken the outline with blue pencil.

Step 3
The shadow effect adds realism. The sparrow has been shaded using the airbrush tool with transparent white for the highlights and transparent black for the shadows. The airbrushed shades have been accented with some shading with the pencil tool. We have placed our sparrow in as nice green setting. You can put her anywhere you like.
