How to draw Zexion

Zexion, the Cloaked Schemer creates illusions and objects to fight for him. His weapon is a book called a lexicon.

This is a mid shot of Zexion. His head is in 3/4th view, that is, between a front view and profile of the face.

Sketch the guidelines in 30% black pencil, begining with a mango shape for Zexion's head. He has a lot of hair falling over his face, covering one eye. Sketch in the guidelines for the eyes, nose and mouth, and his neck and shoulders.

Fill in the details using a thin black pencil. Erase the guidelines using white pencil. Use the paint bucket to fill in your drawnig with tansparent midtones. Work in shadows and highlights using darker or lighter versions of the same colour.

Draw outlines with a thick dark grey pencil. Ues a thin black pencil to give the tips of the hair a sharper, more defined look. And there you have him! Zexion!

thanx. Hope you can copy it first on paper step by step. Play the animation on a slow speed and watch it a few times first, ok?
