How to Draw Tommy and Spike


Born adventurer Tommy leads the other Rugrats on imaginary adventures. He loves Spike, his family pet.


The guideline for Tommy's head is a big circle and for Spike it is an oval. Spike also has a big round nose. I've used simple shapes for the guidelines, like circles for the hands and feet.


I've put in the details with balck pencil. The two of them have big round eyes and wide mouths. I've erased the guidelines with white pencil and painted them in with transparent colours.


I've airbrushed in a pink background to set off the pair.
