How to Draw Princess Tutu-

A young girl(originally a duck) attends school and takes ballet classes. She wants to restore the heart of her mysterious schoolmate Mytho by transforming into Princess Tutu.

Step 1-
This is a delicate drawing.
I drew this slender couple using grey stick figure guidelines and later fleshed it out with black pencil.


Step 2-

The background has been airbrushed in shades of mauve with overlapping transparent color. I used darker shades near the figures, to accentuate the bodies.

Step 3-
After completing the boy's figure, I filled in the girl's dress in transparent white, overlapping the boy. A second layer of transparent white for the dress that falls in front. Add highlights to make the eyes sparkle,and to the long braid and the boy's hair.

Listen to the soft music as the figures sway gently together.
