How to draw monster cartoon

Hi all!!! Here is another step by step tutorial to show you how to draw your monster cartoon style.

Step 1
Draw the guidelines. The body of this monster is like a sack of potatoes. The eyes are circles and the nose an oval. Don’t forget the antennae and tail.

Step 2
Using a thick pencil, fill in the details. This monster has an alligator-ish look. So add the scales along the spine and make the teeth look saw tooth. Remove the guidelines with a white pencil.

Step 3
The cartoon monster has been coloured using the airbrush tool. I’ve used transparent colours, and darkened the colour for the shadows. For finer details like the teeth and eyes, I’ve used the pencil tool.
