How to draw Cartoon Monsters

Here's another nice exercise to learn how to draw cartoon monsters. Follow this step by step tutorial carefully, slow the animation so you can catch all the details.

Step 1
I've used a grey pencil to do the guidelines. This monster is three eyed. The head is a nice curve. The rest of the parts are a nice set of simple curves for the body, hands and legs.

Step 2
Using a thick black pencil fill in the details for the monster. This monster has its tongue out. Dress up your little monster. With a white pencil, remove the guidelines.

Step 3
Using an airbrush, I have coloured in the face and clothes. You can touch up the sketch with the pencil tool. Let your imagination run wild and you will end up with a riot of colours. Have fun!
