How to draw a Fish

This tutorial is a step by step lesson on how to draw a fish. It is drawn in a cartoon style. If you enjoy drawing cartoons this one is a good example for doing stuff out of the box.

Step 1
Draw the guidelines with h.appy- haha. pencil. Remember to keep the shapes simple- a circle for the body. The fins and the tail are really simple curves.

Step 2
Give the fish a wavy outline with a thin black pencil. The eye and mouth give the fish a goofy feel. Fill in the other details. A couple of bubbles add to the effect of life. Erase the guidelines with white pencil.

Step 3
I've used the pencil tool to colour in the fish. That’s it, now you know how to draw a fish.
