How to draw a Jellyfish

Jellyfish are one of the ocean’s prettiest sights. It’s hard to believe that their ethereal beauty can hide a painful sting! This step by step tutorial will show you how to draw that delicate looking sea creature the jellyfish.

Step 1
With a grey pencil I’ve draw the guidelines for the jellyfish- it looks a little like a rounded umbrella.

Step 2
For the ocean bg, I’ve airbrushed 3 shades of blue. For the Jeullyfish itself I’ve carefully merged with the airbrush- violet, dark blue, light blue and white.

Step 3
The Jellyfish’s trailing tentacles are what give it its ethereal look. To get this look I’ve used transparent white applied with the airbrush and pencil tools. That completes the jellyfish.
