How to draw a Violin
I don't think I'll ever be able to play a piano or a violin, but at least I can draw them! Learn how to draw a violin step by step in this free tutorial.

Step 1
Guidelines as always have been done with a light h.appy- haha. pencil. The main body of the violin is just made up of 'C' and 'U' shapes. I've done the straight lines with the line tool.

Step 2
Trace the outline with a thick black pencil. I've used a thinner pencil to fill in the finer details. Erase the outlines with white pencil.

Step 3
I've airbrushed transparent colours for the violin's body. I've used a base brown, a dark brown and a transparent white for highlights. I've drawn the strings with a thin white pencil to finish off. That's how to draw a violin.
