How to Draw Jigoku Shoujo -

Anti-heroine Hell Girl is Jigoku Shoujo who has access to the "Hotline to Hell", a Hell Correspondence website. Her task is to fulfill other people's vengeance and ferry people to Hell.

Step 1 -

This is an Extreme Close Up
and Hell Girl's ruby red eyes dominate the picture. She has an innocent pretty face.

I drew the grey guidelines of the face with 2 curves. Note the pointed chin. To align the extra large eyes, I drew 3 horizontal lines. The bangs are straight lines, as is the hair on either side of the face.

Step 2 -
Next I airbrushed the Violet on top and the red background. I also airbrushed the blue black hair and pencilled in the pale orange skin tone with a light brown shadow under the chin.

Step 3-
For the eyes, I painted the red tones with a dark pupil in the centre. I pencilled in the highlights on the right beside the pupils and later added an airbrush stroke for a glowing effect.

Step 4-
Finally, I pencilled in the greens with a line of red for the collar and added thin pencil strokes in dark and light shades of red patterns for the background.
