How to Draw Goku Super Saiyan 3 from Dragonball Z-


Through constant training, Goku has achieved great strength, super speed, reflexes and energy blasts which are formed from chi.


Step 1 -

I used strong lines to convey the strength of this powerful character. I began with simple grey guidelines to show the profile and flow of his hair that falls like a mane. I later fleshed this out with a black pencil line, careful to draw in the curves of his muscles, and to show his hair falling in bunches like large leaves.


Step 2-

To color this, I used a 70% transparent color in shades of pink for his skin tone and shades of yellow for his hair. This has pale yellow highlights and browns for the shadows.


Step 3-


I finished the clothes and wristband in shades of blue and put in shadows behind the arm to accentuate his muscles.
