How to Draw Sally the Ragdoll from the Nightmare before Christmas -


Here's Super Sally with her flowing red hair.


Step 1-

I began this sketch with thin pencil guidelines. I drew an oval for the face with a pointed chin, slightly tilted. Then I put in the hair and features on the face. Finally I drew stick arms and a body.


Step 2-


Fleshing this out was simple. Sally has large eyes with small pupils. I airbrushed a pale blue tint for her skin, leaving the highlights white. Then I put in shades of red for her fiery hair. I drew thin black pencil lines over this shading to show the flow.


Step 3-


Last of all came her multi colored dress. I did the patterning on the colors in the end to give it a neat finish. With thin black pencil lines, I then put in the stitches on her face and body using the x mark over a curved line.
