How to Draw a Snowman-

Frosty the Snowman has come to herald Christmas.

Step 1 -

This is a fun drawing to do. Begin with a large circle for the head - drawn in 2 parts. First one half of the curve, next the other half. Drawing a complete circle freehand takes a little practice, but it can be done slowly.

I then drew the hat that sits snugly on the head, and the scarf around the neck that swings out in the chilly winds.

Step 2-

I then used the paint bucket tool to fill in the grey and green colors for the hat and red for the scarf. I pencilled in the yellow stripes for the scarf. Over this I airbrushed the shading.

Step 3-

The two snow circles for the Snowman were airbrushed in shades of transparent grey and blue.

Finally I pencilled the eyes, nose and mouth, the stick hands and the pipe.

I airbrushed in transparent blues for the snowy ground.

Brrrr... Frosty is at his element in the freezing weather.
