How to Draw Konata -


An eccentric but friendly and outgoing girl, Konata from Lucky Star has a good-natured sense of humor .She can be smart, but she hates studying and loves video gaming.


Step 1-


I started on this Close Up sketch of Konata with grey pencil lines for the oval face with a slight cheek and chin at the bottom. I then put in horizontal lines to align the eyes,nose and mouth. I drew stick arms and boxed in the hands and fingers. Then I topped the head with flowing hair.


Step 2-


Now I fleshed it all out with proper fingers and clothes. For the humungous eyes, I put in shadows in green for the pupils and kept white highlights - one large and one small.


Step 3 -

To color this, I began filling the face with a 30% orange. Then I airbrushed the pink cheeks. The main colors for the hair and red stripes on the sleeves, I put in with a paint bucket.


Then I added darks and highlights to the hair with the same paint bucket tool.
