How to Draw Ash

How to Draw Ash Ketcham from Pokemon -

Ash Ketchum's goal - "Gotta catch 'em all"! His dream is to become the greatest Pokémon Master in the world.

Here's a dramatic low angle pose of Ash.


Step 1-

To draw this, I started with grey pencil guidelines. The lower half of his body is Close Up and magnified, as is the hand which is foreshortened too. The chest and head are small in comparison and at an angle.


Step 2-


I used a black pencil line to flesh this out and put in details of face and fingers.


Step 3 -


Last of all is the coloring done with transparent shades using the paint bucket tool to fill it in. Three shades of blue for his jeans, red for the cap and orange tints for the skin.
