How to draw Mushu from Mulan

From Disney’s humongous library of characters we bring to you… Mushu! Mushu is Fa Mulan’s closest companion in Disney’s movie Mulan. This comical dragon might be pint sized, but his heart is big. Here’s a step by step tutorial on how to draw Mushu.

Step 1
Begin with guidelines with grey pencil, starting with a circle for the head. Next draw an big ‘S’ shape which will be the guideline for his body and tail. Next you can sketch in Mushu’s hands and legs.

Step 2
I’ve used a thin black pencil to fill in the details next. If you’re having trouble following the details, play the animation on a slow speed and follow each step carefully.

Step 3
I’ve coloured Mushu with the pencil tool using transparent colours. I’ve also given him a shadow behind his tail. Tada! Mushu from Mulan at your service ;)
