How to draw Manic the Hedgehog

Raised by thieves, Manic from Sonic Underground is a master thief himself. Though he may not have super powers of his own, his lock picking, computer hacking and other skills are invaluable for his siblings Sonic and Sonia. Step 1
Do the guidelines with grey pencil. Remember to keep the shapes simple- a circle for the head and mitten shapes for the hands.

Step 2
Darken the outline with a thin black pencil. Fill in the details – the eyes, nose and mouth on the face, the fingers on the hands and so on. Use white pencil to erase the guidelines.

Step 3
I’ve used transparent colours and the pencil tool to colour Manic in. I’ve used darker shades for shadows and since I’ve used transparent colours, I also did 2 layers of the same colour to get darker patches. There he is Manic, brother of Sonic from Sonic Underground.
