How to draw a Toad


Think this is an easy one? You're right :) it is! Don't let the details scare you. Follow these steps and you'll see just how easy it is to draw this toad with all his markings and also his warts.


Step 1

The guidelines are the most important here. Once the shape is right, you just need a little colour n a warty texture to make your toad look good.


Step 2

I've filled in the toad with green paint and added some wavy grey patterns over it. I got a neat 3D look by airbrushing some transparent black.


Step 3

Details, details come in here. I have done a thick black outline for the toad's body. I used a thinner pencil for the warts and airbrushed tiny white and orange dots onto them.
