How to draw a leopard

The smallest of the 4 big cats, but does that bother it? Of course not. This cunning hunter is capable of killing prey larger than itself. This secretive feline is also great at climbing trees. Here’s a free tutorial of a leopard all comfy in a tree.

Step 1
I’ve done the guidelines with grey pencil, beginning with an egg shape for the head and simple lines to sow where the eyes and nose will be.

Step 2
I’ve darkened the outline and added details with black pencil. I erased the guidelines with white pencil.

Step 3
I used the airbrush tool to colour in my leopard using 3 transparent shades of brown. Finally added a few shadows to the face and on the tree with transparent black pencil. Look out now! That leopard’s watching you!
