Ever think that you’d see the words dynamite and Nobel Prize in the same sentence? Well guess what! They were both given to the world by the same person! Swedish chemist and engineer Alfred Nobel invented dynamite and made a ton of money which he used to start the Nobel Prize.
Step 1 I started with a simple box shape with grey pencil for guidelines for the piled up dynamite sticks and the fuse.
Step 2 Using a black pencil I’ve filled in the details of the sticks of dynamite. I’ve outlined the fuse with a thin pencil outline.
Step 3 Starting with a light red base with the paint bucket, I have airbrushed 2 shades of darker reds to give the dynamite a 3D-ish look. The tape and fuse are airbrushed in brown. The spark at the end of the fuse is done with pencil with a yellow glow done with the airbrush.
