How to Draw Cloud from Final Fantasy-


Cloud Strife is the hero of the Console Role Playing game - Final Fantasy. Cloud is a reclusive mercenary and his antagonist is Sephiroth.


Step 1


I began this drawing by tackling just the head and neck. With grey pencil guidelines, I drew the oval for his face that tapers to almost a point for his chin. For each lockof spiked hair, I drew a curve to indicate its direction. A 'V' shape for his collar and neck.


The eyes are aligned by drawing two parallel curved guidelines. one for the nose and one for the mouth.

Step 2 -

Now its time to sketch in the outlines with black pencil strokes.

I now draw the details of the eyes, nose and lips. Then carefully sketch in the contours of the slight cheek and pointed chin to create the face.

I draw in each lock of hair that stands spiked in different directions.


Step 3 -


There are many tools to choose from for the painting - I like a transparent paint bucket in pale orange for the face, worked over with the airbrush to add the darks for the nose, eyebrows, chin and cheeks. Finally I touch in the highlights in pale pink with the airbrush on the nose tip and chin and high up on the cheeks.


Step 4-

Its time to add the accessories - The armor bulges on one side and the heavy sword that can cut anything in half, weighs down on the other shoulder. I draw these and airbrush the colors, putting in details of screws on the sword and bumps on the armor in the end.
