How to Draw Mater from Disney Cars movie-

This rusty trusty tow truck, Mater, is the lovable character from the animated blockbuster Disney - Pixar movie 'Cars'.

Step 1 -
This is a fun drawing. i began with grey pencil guidelines to box in the basic shapes of the front, the windshield, and the side of the tow truck. I drew in the wheels and sketched in the rod and hook for towing.

Step 2 -
next I used black pencil outlines to draw the accurate shape of the truck. I put in the eyes that sit at the bottom of the windshield and the buck teeth and lopsided grin.This is what makes up his personality and adds character to the truck.

Step 3 - To color Mater the tow truck, I airbrushed brights shades of orange and then added some green tones on the side to give it a rusty, crusty feel. Later I put in details of his lips and highlights in his eyes with a transparent pencil stroke.

Mater is all set to burn a trail.
