The Teepee is a tent used by Native Americans - sometimes adorned with geometric patterns. A Teepee has to have these elements- ten to twenty Teepee poles; a Teepee cover with bison skins; an inner Teepee skin lining; and a canvas or skin door. The teepee is a semicirclar tent with a door and smoke flaps.
Step 1 -
I drew this simple sketch beginning with a cone shape and an oval for the door. A diamond shape for the smoke flap above and a few tips of teepee poles jutting out on top.
Step 2 - Then I painted in the Native American teepee made of hide with a brown shade - paler on the right where the sun catches its light, and darker on the left for the shadow.
Step 3 -
The geometric design comes last. A Native American border created with black and white and trimmed with red.
Step 4 - Finally I airbrushed the background with green grass and purple hills.
