Unofficial Storyline of season 4 episode 1:
Zuko sends some fire nation soldiers to set out and find his mother. He is surprised when they returned injured. They gave him a letter saying "If you want your mom to return to you in peace, you have to give up the throne"

Azula's POV: While taking Azula to her prison cell something unexpected happens, she firebends and attacks the two guards bringing her to her cell. She then burns the chain connecting to the metal cuffs and then she take the guards and throws them in her cell and steals their key to all other cells. She makes a visit to the head leader of the Dai Li's leaders cell and says " We have some unfinished business.

Dai Li POV: The head leader of the Dai Li rounds up all the troops with Azula.. He along with the Dai Li and Azula go to the prison in which Zuko's mom is kept.

Aang's POV: "Zuko is everything ok?"
"No it's not" He replies," They're holding my mother captive, at the Boiling Rock"
"Who is it?"
"I don't know, but there's a fire nation symbol on top of the letter"
"I thought the war was over"
"I thought so too, but there are some fire nation people who still remain loyal- I mean unloyal to the fire nation, Look at me, it took me a while to become good, I Have to go find her!"

In the middle of the night zuko hops on appa but is stopped by Aang.
"Wait, I'm going with you" Said Aang.
"So are we," said the rest of the group.
Zuko smiles.

Azula's POV: "Put the warden in the freezer!" Sorry warden but look's this is our prison now!
" I want all Dai Li to gather as much rocks to bend for when my brother comes, he's not going to be happy."
Azula then orders the fire nation guards.
"Take my mother and tie her outside where they will be able to see her!"

Zuko POV: "There it is! The boiling rock!"
" Prepare to land."

Before they land the Dai Li launch Gas rocks engulfed in flames at the group. They know that getting zuko's mom isn't going to be easy. As soon as they land they engage into battle.

Ending: They win, and Zuko's mom is safe and reunited with Zuko. Azula is put in the freezer, all traitors are put in the freezer, and the Dai Li were brainwashed to serve under the king.

20 years later: All attend Iroh's death, Zuko and Mai holding the hand of an infant, as well as Sokka and Suki. Aang and Katara's infant is airbending and then he flies into the air with his glider and beside him are a whole group of dragons (5).
